As usual it would appear that the evolution of the gaming world is out to rip is off. Once again, after we have all just spent all of our hard earned cash on getting up to date with the latest and the greatest we are being forced into buying yet another upgrade. This time it concerns the R4 memory card which is of course compatible with only the original DS’s and not the latest DSi. The new piece of kit we are being recommended is the R4i which is of course ‘more powerful’ and ‘reliable’ than the earlier version. It is also conveniently compatible with the early DS system. Something that beggers belief really. I mean how on earth can things go down but not up like that.
Ridiculous. Ripped off again and I thought that Nintendo was alright.

Ok so I thought I should give you an update on my mid-life crisis neighbour. Previously he has been having an affair with his much younger secretary, broken up with his wife, knocked down his shed and built a small sauna, broken up with his secretary and moved her back out of the house, got a tattoo of his ex-wifes name and then convinced her to move back in. He has also started taking up guitar lessons but just recently here’s the best bit. He has sold off his banged up old motor and bought an audi tt .
Ok, so it’s not a a motorbike but it is still quite a good effort in ticking off the clichéd mid-life crisis boxes. Hillarious I reckon. Anyway, I just thought that you might enjoy this.

My friend and I recently booked some flights to barcelona to go and see Barcelona FC play!
It as a last minute thing and we checked if there was availability at the game. They were playing Villarreal CF and it was a good game.
Not only did we watch the game but we also went on a tour of the stadium too, which was 17 Euros. The Barcelona football stadium is the 3rd largest in the world after Sao Paulo, Brazil and Mexico City. We got to see the grounds, the pitch, the dressing rooms, press area and the VIP lounge. It was amazing we even got to sit on the player's benches!
If you love football and want a bit of a change I would recommend going to Barcelona to see a game. We are already planning our next trip this time we might go to Madrid though!

I do like a good night out to a top-notch restaurant. So after living near Manchester for most my life I have put together my five top restaurants. Now they are all quite expensive, but for that special occasion they are perfect. So here is the list:
1. Michael Caines at Abode, near Manchester Piccadilly Station.
2. The French - the first restaurant in the UK to be awarded a Michelin star
3. Harvey Nichols Manchester - has great second floor views
4. Chaophraya - some of the best Thai food I have ever tasted
5. Ocean Treasure 235 - a plush new Chinese restaurant which is definitely worth a visit!

I think I have wanted one of these ever since I saw them first mentioned on Tomorrow’s World back in the early 90s. People argued that they would never take off and that they were a nerdy do-gooder pipe dream to prevent the fictional global warming issues we faced, and to an extent, they were.
But, this doesn’t discard the fact that they at least look weirdly cool and that anything that folds up and can be put back together to be a vehicle of some sort is awesome right? Need I honestly remind you of the fold up plane in the James Bond movie Octopussy? I do? It fell out of a horses bottom and had pop out wings and was bad ass with Roger Moore piloting it. Thought that might tickle your memory glands.
Anyway, I digress, these are nerd alert cool all the way, gum tree are currently advertising loads of these for our skinny hippy comuter selfs. Check it out here, bicycles
