Instructions:
Get the Scouts to design web pages for the troop/group web site.
Once you start a web site then you can revisit this activity many times.
Each time get the Scouts to design a new section.
Once the Scouts have designed the page(s) on paper then either you or an computer
literate Scouts can implement them.
Examples:
Here are some examples of what pages the Scouts could design:
Home page - Introduce the troop, links to other pages within the site
Knots & lashings - Step by step instructions of how to do various knots and lashings.
Photo Gallery - Scanned photographs of Scout events/camps.
Games - List all the games you play in the troop and give details of how you play them.
Individual Pages - Give each Scout their own page in which they can tell the world about themselves etc.
Events Calendar - Have a page of forthcoming events such as troop meetings, Parades, Camps etc.
